This is my first venture into making a guitar. This is a lap steel guitar commonly called a “Weissenborn”, after it’s creator Hermann Weissenborn. It’s a plain “Style 1” like Mr. Weissenborn made in the 1920’s and sold for $40. Koa construction with Spruce bracing. Maple rosette and “frets”.
